The third conference on ‘Public Policy and Governance in South Asia: “Expanding Public Choices and Market Opportunities” was jointly organized by Nepal Administrative Staff College (NASC) along with various organizations including SIAS at 4-5 July 2019. The two day event brought together researchers, academia, policy actors, development practitioners of South Asia to deliberate and share knowledge and experiences on public policy and governance in the region. The conference was a starkling exhibition of underlying commonalities in the region, both in terms of issues faced and the policy measures undertaken for the same. Delegates from Nepal, India and Bangladesh actively participated in the broader dialogue of ‘ Public Choices and Market Opportunities’ through policy dialogues, plenary and technical sessions.
