Ngamindra Dahal, Senior Research Fellow

Ngamindra Dahal, PhD is Senior Research Fellow at Southasia Institute of Advanced Studies (SIAS) since 2012. A graduate in hydrometeorology and environmental sciences, he has earned 20 years of professional experiences on action researches and policy development processes in affiliation with various organizations. He worked for Ministry of Environment and Asian Development Bank (TA 71773, 2009-12), Nepal Administrative Staff College (onward 2010), and National Trust of Nature Conservation (2003-2009). He also served intermittently at World Bank, ICIMOD, UN Agencies and other research and academic institutions. He has published his works in the forms of research papers, books, and book chapters, policy briefs, technical reports, media articles and conference proceedings. His field of expertise include scientific research, development planning and practicing of innovations in the field of climate and ecosystems, hydrology, environmental impact assessment, disaster risk management and technology transfer for climate resilient agriculture, water, energy and infrastructure management.
