With an increasing number of COVID cases in Nepal and within Kathmandu valley, lockdown is mostly like to be continued in the foreseeable future. With economies around the world is locked down, its effect is being already seen in our remittance powered economy. With the return of the foreign migrants, it is an opportunity for Nepal to engage these skilled population in domestic growth.
Therefore this week, the webinar is on the policy provisions in the Nepal government for employment generation. Our presenter Mr. Bishnu Lamsal, is currently leading a research project to review policies of GoN with an aim to produce recommendations on employment generation in the post-COVID situation.
