Anisha Joshi, Research Intern

Anisha Joshi holds an undergraduate degree in Cultures and Movements with a track in Sociology from Duke Kunshan University. She researched the linkage of Aadhaar, India’s biometric ID system, to the country’s food welfare infrastructure for her undergraduate thesis. As a research intern at SIAS, she is engaged with the CREW project (Co-producing a shock resilient ecosystem for women engaged enterprises in Nepal). She is broadly interested in studying gender, development, migration and marginality.
