Jaya Pun is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Natural Resource Management and Rural Development, having earned her bachelor’s degree in forestry from Kathmandu Forestry College, affiliated with Tribhuvan University in Nepal. She previously worked as a Research Assistant, providing support to international master’s students in their fieldwork and transcriptions and is recently embarking on an internship as a Research Officer at SIAS.
Jaya’s professional interests revolve around Biodiversity Conservation, Climate Change, Geographic Information System (GIS), Green Economy, and Natural Resources Management with a broader focus on Sustainable Ecological Development. She is dedicated to advancing her career through the application of technical methods and strategies in ecological services and biodiversity contexts. Beyond her professional pursuits, she is a fervent admirer of the wilderness.
