Sangita Thapa (Magar) is pursuing her Master’s course in Development Studies at the college of Development Studies, Kathmandu. Having a background of English literature, she was involved professionally in reporting, documentation, editing and translation in different non-governmental organizations like Advocacy Forum, HRPLSC, Support Nepal and Carter Centre. Her main areas of interest are gender, education, human rights and natural resource management. Lately, she is with SIAS, contributing as a research associate (copy editor).
