Susmina Gajurel joined SIAS as a Research Assistant for Institutional Network and Self Organized Adaptation (INSA) since July 2020. She is primarily responsible for data cleaning, database management and supporting project coordinator.
Ms. Gajurel holds MSc. in Environment and Natural Resources from Kathmandu University. Her MSc thesis was on delineation of groundwater potential zones in a sub-watershed of mid-hills of Nepal. Prior to joining SIAS, she has worked as a Research Officer at The Small Earth Nepal (SEN) for more than three years. She was involved in rainwater harvesting suitability mapping, and promotion of efficient water use system for agriculture in Western Nepal.
