I hold my graduation and under graduation degree in Forestry from Institute of Forestry of Tribhuvan University, Nepal. I am currently involved as Research Associate at Southasia Institute of Advanced Studies (SIAS) under GCRF Multi-Hazard Urban Disaster Risk Transition: Reducing Disaster Risk in Tomorrow’s Cities project. I am involved in different researches on forestry, climate change, ecosystem services, and biodiversity conservation. My specific research interest lies on sustainable livelihood, climate change, environment and biodiversity conservation, disaster risk management, gender equity and build up my personality and leadership quality.

I have participated in different national and international conference, seminar and workshop. I am awarded with several prestigious national and international awards like IDEA WILD, USA; USAID funded Hariyoban phase II program of WWF, Nepal; NORED scholarship; Student research grant by Api Nampa Conservation area and Roshita Shristita scholarship awards from Nepal Red Cross Society District Chapter Rupandehi, Nepal. Formerly I have worked as a Forest Research Officer at Agricultural & Forest Conservation Research Centre (AFCRC) and in Environment Research Institute (ERI).
