Sunmaya Magar holds a Master’s degree in Natural Resource Management and Rural Development from Institute of Forestry, Pokhara and a bachelor’s degree in Forestry from Kathmandu Forestry College, affiliated to Tribhuvan University, Nepal. Her interest lies on biodiversity conservation, relationship of livelihood with the environment, community forest management and moreover ethnobotany. She will be providing field-based assistance in Dolakha for SIAS’s “Co-producing a shock-resilient business ecosystem for women-led enterprises in Nepal (CREW)” project as a Research Officer.
