Barsha Gautam is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Environmental Science at Khwopa College, Bhaktapur, and is a recipient of the Chandra Gurung Memorial Fellowship 2023/24 awarded by WWF Nepal. She previously worked as an Environmental Analyst at Himalayan Research Forum Nepal Pvt. Ltd.. She has also served as a Research Assistant for a natural hazard and disaster risk research project of University of Innsbruck in Nepal. She is passionate about integrating research, policy, and storytelling to enhance public understanding and engagement with environmental issues. She is also a member of Nepal Forum of Science Journalists.
