Meena Dahal holds a Master’s Degree in Humanities and Social Science (Rural Development) From Tri- Chandra Multiple Campus, Tribhuvan University. She has completed Technical SLC (Social mobilization course) From MSR Development Support Institute, Lalitpur, with a scholarship from NSCFP Ramechhap District. She also completed level 2 in Forestry from NSTB, Bhaktapur. She has taken different training likewise: GESI training, DRR, Climate change, Forest management, Record Keeping, Community Based Psychosocial work ( CPSws) from TPO– Nepal, Community Based Adaptation Plan (CBAP).
She has worked in different sectors: Forest, Climate Change, Waste Management, Ecology, Women’s group formation, Farmer group formation, Natural Resource Management, Local level research in climate change ( Agriculture, Livestock, Forest), and Dry area research in Ramechhap district. Her hobbies are exploring new places and doing research.
Currently, she is affiliated with Southasia Institute of Advanced Studies (SIAS) and engaged in Co-producing a shock–resilient business ecosystem for women-led enterprises in Nepal (CREW) project as a field-based Research Officer in Ramechhap District.
