Nir Bahadur BK holds a graduate degree in Political Science and Sociology. He has over 14 years of work experience in agroforestry-based livelihoods specifically in entrepreneurship development of micro and small entrepreneurs, value-chain development of agroforestry products, and capacity development of rural cooperatives. His research interest lies in the capacity enhancement of cooperatives through women empowerment. He is currently working in SIAS as a field-based Research Officer in Ramechhap for an action-research project titled, “Co-producing a shock-resilient business ecosystem for women-led enterprises in Nepal”.
