Southasia Institute of Advanced Studies (SIAS), a Kathmandu based not for profit company invites interested suppliers to participate in the procurement of a vehicle. Potential suppliers are encouraged to submit their quotations as per the specifications stated below.

Interested bidders should submit their proposal with copies of the following documents
- Renewed business license for Nepal 2076/2077
- Authorized sales and Valid VAT registration certificate
- Valid agency registration certificate
- Letter of authorization
- Tax clearance certificate of FY2075/76
- Suppliers should provide the catalogue or brochure along with authorized specification, facilities of quality goods and offered Offered price should be quoted in local currency (NPR).

Any explanation desired by an interested supplier regarding the meaning or interpretation of this solicitation must be requested in writing only. Questions should be submitted via email to sias-info@sias-southasia.org with cc: to Ms. Sujan Dahal at email, sujan@sias-southasia.org, no later than 19 December, 2019 by 5 p.m.
Procurement team will evaluate the bidding documents as per SIAS policy and based on the criteria set below. Selection shall be based on the following weighted categories:
- Fulfillment of minimum specification (30%)
- Price quoted (60%)
- Reference and past performance (10%)
Anticipated Contractual Mechanisms: Southasia Institutes of Advanced studies (SIAS) anticipate issuing a fixed-price purchase order. The purchase orders will be issued in local currency (NPR) to the responsive offer that is selected as the highest scorer on a best value basis. The payment will be made only after the delivery of the vehicle.
NOTE: SIAS has the right to void a RFQ, or withdraw an award prior to the signing of a subcontract due to any unforeseen changes in circumstances.
