This round table meeting was organized by SIAS and International Water Management Institute (IWMI) to initiate a series of deliberative discussions on whether IWRM principles and river basin planning are or are not adapted to address key water management issues in Nepal, and in the Koshi basin in particular, and to reflect upon possible alternative ways of addressing these issues. This round table will bring together Nepal’s main water related stakeholders particularly the senior government officers as well as those involved in research in water issues.
