Supriya Lama holds a bachelor’s degree in Forestry Science from Tribhuvan University affiliated Kathmandu Forestry College. Her Forestry Background has incited her interest in biodiversity conservation, promotion of ecosystem service support, wildlife conservation and management, climate change impacts and mitigation measures. She is also enthusiastic about other cross-cutting issues such as gender, use of social for development and livelihood improvement. Lama completed her undergraduate research thesis on Climate change impacts on species (Pinus wallichiana) distribution. She will be providing field-based assistance in Dolakha for SIAS’s “Co-producing a shock-resilient business ecosystem for women-led enterprises in Nepal” (CREW) project as a Research Associate.
