Aasma Shrestha holds a Bachelor’s degree in Development Studies from Kathmandu University, Nepal. Before joining SIAS, Aasma supported Niti Foundation’s work through research and analytical contributions to Nepal’s public finance and governance systems. She also served as a Research Assistant at Picasso Consultant Pvt. Ltd., contributing to the Kathmandu Valley Comprehensive Master Plan project. Aasma is passionate about inclusive policy processes and is dedicated to amplifying the voices of marginalized communities through evidence-based dialogue and participatory knowledge platforms.
