SIAS organized two-days residential training workshop on “Gender Analysis in Climate Adaptive Water Resource Management” on 21st and 22nd January, 2017 in Dhulikhel, Nepal. The training workshop was expected to achieve the following objectives.
i. Conceptual clarity: Build up common understanding about gender issues in the organizational mainstreaming aspect
ii. Skill building : Develop insights and skills of the project staff and stakeholders on “gender responsive and climate adaptive water resource management
Altogether there was 19 participants including organizational staffs, CAMPS dedicated staffs and CAMPS stakeholders from both cities, Dharan and Dhulikhel of Nepal. The training workshop was lead by Gender expert Kanchan Lama and supported by Nani Raut, Ram Chandra Lamichhane and Basundhara Bhattarai.
