Workshop on Conflict Analysis was organised on 24-25 October 2016 at UEA, Norwich. The two-day workshop was organised by the CoCooR Project ‘Conflict and Cooperation over REDD+ in Mexico, Nepal and Vietnam’ supported by University of East Anglia, Netherlands organisation for Scientific Research (NWO) and UK aid. The workshop brought together CoCooR research team, with UEA-based conflict experts and a CCMCC gender expert to discuss how REDD+ national strategies and (pilot) programmes and projects in Mexico, Nepal and Vietnam have brought about, resolved or transformed conflict and cooperation in the management of these countries’ landscapes and natural resources.
Each country partner presented their country case findings and discussed together on better interpreting from a conflict-theory and gender angle. The discussion also focused on the correspondent articles that the CoCooR team are planning to write in the coming months.
