Barsha Gautam is a recipient of the Chandra Gurung Memorial Fellowship 2023/24 awarded by World Wildlife Fund (WWF) Nepal to pursue a master’s degree in environmental science. She previously worked as an Environmental Analyst at Himalayan Research Forum Nepal Pvt. Ltd. and also served as a Research Assistant for a natural hazard and disaster risk (NH/DR) research project of University of Innsbruck in Nepal. She is passionate about integrating research, policy, and storytelling to enhance public understanding and engagement with environmental issues. She is also a member of the Nepal Forum of Science Journalists.
