Divya Gupta is currently positioned as a Senior Research Fellow in the School of Public Policy at Indian School of Business. Divya has a diverse disciplinary background and her research operates at the intersections of multi-actor and multi-level governance; democratic decentralization; social mobilization; biodiversity conservation, community development, poverty alleviation, collective action mechanisms; and climate change adaptation and sustainable development. Her current projects focus on development in the global south, especially South Asia. Divya got her Ph.D. in Environment and Natural Resources from Ohio State University, USA. Her undergraduate degree is in Botany and masters degree in Environmental Studies, both from the University of Delhi, India.
