Mr. Pokharel is an educator, independent researcher and freelance columnist. He also serves as the member of the Editorial Board of World Water Policy Journal. His research interest spans contemporary issues of water security, climate change and development at the intersection of public policy and governance. His guest columns have appeared in leading regional and international media like The Third Pole, Nikkei Asia in addition to national outlets.
Since the inception of SIAS, he has been providing range of knowledge management services including copyediting, development of blogs, policy briefs and similar writing products. He has also been involved in few research projects within SIAS the recent one being the WEFE Nexus Governance.
